EXPLORE BOHOL (DAY TOUR)
The best way to explore Bohol is to take the Inland Day Tour. A whole day activity of visiting different and interesting places that includes the famous Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, Baclayon Church and Museum, Butterfly Sanctuary, Loboc’s Sailing Restaurant, Xzootic, Hanging Bridge and forest man-made.
The tour starts at 8:00am or 9:00am with Van rental that cost 2,500Php and does not include any fees and entrances. So better take note of the amount listed below for your travel costing reference.
Moreover, mind as well to carry something to eat and drink along with this tour. The only “eating” included in this list, is the Lunch (eat all you can buffet) at Loboc River.
1. Chocolate Hills
Entrance Fee: Fifty Pesos (50Php)
…Covered with green grasses, these conically mounded shaped hills turn into brown during summer. And with the looks similar from afar to the famous chocolate kisses, this might be the reason, why these were branded for the name CHOCOLATE HILLS…” (Read full blog about “A Life within the Choco-choco hills”)
2. Tarsiers’ Sanctuary at Loboc
Entrance Fee: Sixty Pesos (60Php)
One of the Philippines’ most endangered species. Tarsiers are the smallest kinds of primates; they are loner and nocturnal in nature; and they are not monkeys! So please do not call them as small monkeys.

3. Baclayon Church and Museum
Museum Entrance Fee: Fifty Pesos (50Php)
Built in the 16th Century, the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is considered to be one of the oldest churches in the Philippines.

4. Xzootic
Entrance Fee: Twenty Pesos (20Php)
Will you love to see some animals? The Xzootic is a mini zoo that houses few of the Philippines exotic animals.

5. Butterfly Sanctuary
Entrance Fee: Thirty Five Pesos (30Php)
Look closely, these butterflies were mating intimately as the tour guide continues to educate us about its life cycle. Interesting!

6. Hanging Bridge
Entrance Fee: Twenty Pesos (20Php)
I am wondering why the entrance fee should cost 20Php. For the maintenance? Perhaps, the hanging bridge is made up of bamboo wood strips and tension cables.Anyway, there is a vendor that sells some Banana Que at one corner and across the bridge, guess what? In this seemed to be a remote place, I was surprised, that there wer vendors who are trying to sell some souvenirs.

7. Loboc’s Sailing Restaurant
Eat All You Can – Four Hundred Fifty Pesos (450Php).
I prefer to call this, as the Sailing Restaurant when it moves along the river of Loboc for thirty minutes to one hour while I was eating my buffet lunch, and it does not just float…(Read full blog about Loboc River Sailing Restaurant)

8. Man-made Forest
No entrance fee required
Filled with Mahogany Trees, that are tall and green. And as the cricket chirping on this early afternoon, along I indulge breathing the fresh air…
